Marsovin is a well-known brand in Malta, recognized for crafting high-quality wines. The company possesses 199.7 tumoli of land, distributed across five Estates in Malta and Gozo, exclusively dedicated to the production of premium, single-estate wines. Additionally, Marsovin engages in agreements for a total of 1116 tumoli across Malta and Gozo. The brand is renowned for hosting summer events on its estates, including the popular 'Marnisi under the Stars.'

Meridiana - Est. 1994

Meridiana's estate is strategically located on a plain at the heart of Malta, in close proximity to the sea, benefiting from the temperate Mediterranean climate of the Maltese islands. The terrain features small hills, with the prominent ancient walled city of Mdina being a notable landmark. The calcareous soil, coupled with a thick substrate of moisture-retentive, blue-clay subsoil, creates an optimal environment for grape cultivation. The estate consists of 47 acres, includes the winery building, cellars, & offices.

Ta' Mena - Est. 2002

Ta’ Mena Estate, situated in Gozo, is an agritourism destination that encompasses a winery, a fruit and vegetable garden, event spaces, and more. Their diverse offerings include the production of olive oil, liqueurs, wine, and various other products. The wines from Ta’ Mena are renowned for their distinctive Gozitan character, with the majority of blends holding certification as GOZO D.O.K. Wines.

Ta’ Betta Wine Estates spans four hectares in Girgenti, on the outskirts of Siġġiewi. This private estate is nestled in a landscape of exceptional beauty, offering a captivating vista of the vineyard against the medieval backdrop of Mdina. Ta’ Betta specializes in the production of exquisite wines and curates exclusive wine events within its secluded grounds for club members and discerning clientele. The estate is meticulously adorned, showcasing a keen attention to detail.

Mar Casar - Est. 2005

Mar Casar is situated in Siggiewi, along Malta's western coast, and stands out as a winery dedicated to crafting premium-quality, natural, vegan, and gluten-free wines using the method of QVEVRI. The grapes undergo cultivation within a holistic permaculture environment, free from pesticides, herbicides, and systemic chemicals. The unique method of Qvevri employed by Mar Casar utilizes Terracotta conical vases created by Georges Kopadzde in Shroa, located in the Imereti region of Eastern Georgia (Caucasus).

San Niklaw - Est. 2005

San Niklaw is situated in the southeastern corner of Malta, where the roads from Zejtun, Marsaxlokk, and Marsascala meet. At the heart of the estate, there is a 17th-century chapel dedicated to St. Nicholas, connected to a country residence. The estate is composed of vineyards, an olive grove, a boutique winery, and an underground cellar that dates back to the late 19th century. Established in 2005, the vineyards have a singular focus: producing world-class wines exclusively from the estate's own grapes.

Maria Rosa - Est. 2006

The Maria Rosa Wine Estate is a tribute to Mr. Joseph Fenech’s wife and his lifelong dream of producing wine, following in the footsteps of his father. Established in 2006, the estate spans 4.2 hectares of agricultural land and is home to three varieties of grapes: Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah, and Sirakuzan. The estate is known for its dedication to producing quality Maltese wines, crafted with love and care. The family’s expertise and commitment to the art of winemaking are evident in every bottle. They take great pride in nurturing their vineyards, ensuring that only the finest grapes are used in the production process.

Fra Brettel - Est. 2006

Fra Brettel is a winery that specializes in the production of limited quantities of wines that serve a niche market. The vine varieties which were planted were the white varieties Vermentino, Viogner, Moscato bianco and Albariño and the red varieties Syrah, Mourvedre, Graciano, Grenache and Negroamaro.

Tal-Massar vineyard is set in the idyllic village of Gharb in stunning Gozo. This beautiful vineyard is the smallest winery on the Maltese islands, yet the only one that produces high quality wines made from grapes grown without the use of herbicides. All grapes are grown in its private terraced estate and are cultivated with care by the owner himself.

Marsovin Summer Wine Festival

Held each July in the verdant paradise of Valletta’s Hastings Gardens, Marsovin Summer Wine Festival is a lavish three-day affair uniting fine wine with delicious food and great music. A prestige Maltese wine producer with over 100 years of history, Marsovin showcases 30 of their exquisite certified D.O.K. and I.Ġ.T. quality wines from grapes grown around Malta and Gozo.

For viticulture novices and enthusiasts alike, the festival has a dedicated Wine Educational Area that offers blind tastings for guests to learn more about the wonders of wine. Food comes courtesy of local restaurants, and everything is sound tracked by the uplifting beats of Malta and Gozo’s leading live bands. A true feast for the senses, Marsovin Summer Wine Festival is a superlative summer event to unwind at while sipping Marsovin’s crisp Caravaggio Chenin Blanc and overlooking Marsamxett Harbour.

Delicata Classic Wine Festival

Hosted by Malta’s oldest family-run winemaker, the Delicata Wine Festival celebrates everything that’s fabulous about Maltese wine. Coinciding with the start and finish of the Maltese grape harvest, Delicata Classic Wine Festival takes place across four days in Valletta’s stunning Upper Barrakka Gardens and over three days in Nadur, Gozo.

With unrivaled vistas across Valletta’s Grand Harbour and Three Cities, this convivial Malta wine festival marries incredible scenery with local culture, delicious regional delicacies and plenty of fine wines. Guests can savour Delicata’s award-winning vintages, such as semi-sparkling Frizzantes, Girgentina and Ġellewża and a selection of white, red and rosé boutique wines.

Malta International Wine Festival

Despite being a relative newcomer to the Malta wine festival scene, the Malta International Wine Festival is fast becoming a contender for the wine event of the year. Putting both local and international wines firmly in the spotlight, this three-day event in the fortified city of Cospicua presents over 100 of the best wines from all corners of the globe.

Set on the scenic waterfront, wander past stands occupied by expert winemakers and winery representatives who are on hand to dispense their wisdom and introduce their products. Masterclasses and talks by sommeliers are where to pick up expert tips, while delicious thematic food and wine pairings are held throughout the festival.

Qormi Wine Festival

The Qormi Wine Festival is held each September, until midnight. Organized by Kumitat Festi Esterni San Ġorġ Martri in collaboration with various entities, the festival features a diverse selection of red, white, and rosé wines from Marsovin. The event, held in Main Street with St George's parish church as a backdrop, aims to revive a centuries-old tradition and attract both locals and foreigners.

Food stalls offering local traditional cuisine as well as Italian, Greek, and Spanish dishes. The festival has become a popular annual event, drawing around 4,000 people each edition. Entrance to the festival is free, but attendees can purchase a souvenir wine glass for €8 to sample the wines, which will be theirs to keep. Wine service will conclude at 11:30 p.m., and no alcohol will be served to individuals under 16 years of age.

Fontana Wine Festival

The Fontana Wine Festival is held every September around Fontana’s Parish Church, featuring a vast selection of Gozitan wines, which are cultivated locally by Gozitan farmers and produced by various wineries such as Fontana’s own winery, Bacchus Winery, Delicata Wine Maker Ltd., and Marsovin Winery. The festival will have over 20 wines available for guests to try in addition to a festive environment and a lineup full of fantastic local acts.

While there is no admission cost, visitors must purchase a glass for the wine sampling. The guest will be able to keep the glass as a memento.

Ta’ Sannat Wine Festival

The Wine Festival is held each April at the stunning Pjazzetta Cocco Palmieri in Sannat, where you’ll be treated to an evening of fantastic wine, delicious local food stalls and amazing entertainment.

In addition to the vast array of wines on offer, there will be a variety of food stalls serving up mouth-watering local delicacies, so be sure to come hungry! And if that’s not enough to whet your appetite, there will also be live music bands and synchronized fireworks displays throughout the night.
