Itinerary

Itenirary
Departing from Bugibba (10:30 A.M)
The tour begins from the tourist town of Bugibba, where the modern and stable catamaran Sea Adventure departs on an unforgettable two island cruise. From the open sea, you will experience Malta from a truly unique and beautiful vantage point. We cruise close to the coast, witnessing Malta’s magnificent naturally formed coastline, including its enormous cliffs, rocky nooks and crannies. You will pass the tiny Island of St. Paul’s, viewing the statue of the apostle Saint Paul, rising high into the sky. You will visit magnificent sea caves, allowing you the opportunity to take amazing photographs.

Stopping at Blue Lagoon (1 hour)
Arriving at the famous Blue Lagoon, we moor for another hour in a prime area; you will have the best view from our docking position. Use the boat as a base, utilizing all its fantastic facilities.

Stopping at Crystal Lagoon (1 hour)
June - October In the morning, we stop for 1hr at the stunning but less well known Crystal Lagoon. It is fringed by steep cliffs and therefore accessed only by boats. With unbelievably clear water, it is perfect for swimming, snorkelling and diving. Take a plunge into its crystal clear waters from one of our three waterslides, or jump from the top deck if you dare! A true snorkelers paradise, where you can even swim inside the caves. En-route to the Blue Lagoon, you can admire the fantastic sight of a shipwreck from one of the 26 underwater windows. It is a 50-meter ex-German Minesweeper lying on the seabed 20 Meters below sea level. The visibility of the wreck will depend on the sea and sunlight conditions. For safety reasons, we will not stop at the wreck if there are ongoing diving operations. November - May We spend approximately 15 minutes in Crystal Lagoon; we stop only for photo opportunities and to visit the sea caves.

Stopping at Island of Gozo (3 hours)
Once we arrive at Gozo Island, you will have 3 hours, you can make your own plans in advance, or you can purchase our land transport for a small added charge on the morning of the excursion. The land transport will take you to one of two fabulous locations, Xlendi or Victoria; where you will have over two hours free time to explore.

Stopping at Xlendi Beach, Cliff and Caves (2 hours) (Optional with a tour for €5.00)
If you decided to purchase our land transport on-board, our first options for you to choose is Xlendi. This small, picturesque, seaside village can be found in the south-west of the island. It is a charming bay, surrounded by gigantic cliffs, and dotted with small, and large caves. From the top of the cliffs, you can also enjoy the panoramic views of the village. Xlendi boasts several coffee shops, excellent restaurants, and a small souvenir shop for you to enjoy. It has a watersports centre where you can hire canoes, jet-skis, boats and much more. If you prefer to relax over a good meal, glass of wine or a coffee, then Xlendi is an excellent option for you.

Stopping at Victoria (2 hours) (Optional with a tour for €5.00)
If you decided to purchase our land transport on-board, our second options for you to choose is Victoria. The capital city of Gozo is named Victoria, after the Queen of England, but more commonly referred to as Rabat, by the locals. This small city has a wealth of charm and history to explore, and the first known settlers date back to the Neolithic times. The crown jewel of Victoria is the Citadel a fortified town which rises high above the narrow winding streets of the city below. St. Georges Basilica is found down in the town square. The basilica is entirely coated with marble, while the canopy over the high altar is gilded in bronze and gold. All paintings in the dome and ceiling are by Giovanni Battista Conti of Rome. One of the fascinating parts of the basilica is the statue of St. George, sculpted in wood by Pawlu Azzopardi in 1838.

Passing by Santa Maria Caves
With the day drawing to a close, we start our cruise back to Bugibba. En-route, we enter the Santa Maria pirate caves and view the “Elephants Head”, a fantastic rock formation.
